Adult Dyslexia Support Group

Merton & SW London Dyslexia Association

We provide a meeting place where adult dyslexics, 16 years upwards, can come and exchange ideas and experiences - both good and bad. Meetings are held every three months on the 2nd or 3rd Tuesday at 8pm at the Wimbledon Guild of Social Welfare. Meetings are FREE and open only to adult dyslexics.

Asian Diabetic Support & Awareness Group

Diabetic Awareness - Focus on the Asian Community

A local organisation working to promote diabetic awareness for all, especially Asians who are the highest risk group. The group offers help and works for the welfare of all diabetics, regardless of ethnicity.

HAIL supports people with a learning disability, mental health, autism and other vulnerable people to lead their own lives.

Headway

We aim to provide assistance, support, information and services to people with a brain injury, their families, carers and relevant professionals working with those with brain injury. We also work to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury.

Family & Friends Support Meeting

The Headway friends and family support meeting takes place once a month alternating between Wimbledon and Croydon. The group is open to any carer, family member or friend of a person affected by an acquired brain injury.

South West London Lymphoma Support Group

Supporting those affected by Hodgkin or Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

This group offers mutual support and an interesting programme of speakers. All are welcome at our friendly and informal meetings.

Wimbledon and District Diabetes UK Group

Affiliated to Diabetes UK

We are an informal group offering support and awareness to those with or interested in diabetes, including carers.
