Heathfield Library Access Point

Richmond Libraries

Heathfield library closed in March 2011 and some key services are now delivered from a temporary Library Access Point. Located within Whitton community centre, the Library Access Point provides a small collection of books for adults and children and audio books.

All Wandsworth's libraries provide large print books and talking books for children. These can be borrowed as standard, absolutely free. Children with a visual disability are exempt from paying any library charge.

Postal and internet based audio book service.

We are a UK charity providing a fantastic selection of high-quality audiobooks to some 36,000 people across the UK who find it difficult or impossible to read due to illness or disability. Members can choose from a huge selection of titles to download, stream or receive through the post.

Local Studies Collection

The Local Studies Collection is based at the Old Town Hall, Richmond and provides access to material relating to the history of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It contains the collections previously held by the former boroughs of Barnes, Richmond and Twickenham.

We are a charity & members organisation, set up to advise and support people of all ages with the difficulties associated with Dyslexia. We run advisory sessions and helplines, a self help group for adult dyslexics & provide severasl library collections for reluctant readers.

South Thames College

South Thames College offers a range of qualifications from MBAs to accountancy exams, from A-levels to HNDs, from apprenticeships to vocational classes. Over 21,000 students are enrolled at South Thames and government funded courses like BTEC Nationals and A Levels are free for 16-19 year olds

Young Calibre Audio Library provides a subscription-free postal and streaming service of audio books for children and young adults who are unable to read print because of sight loss, dyslexia or physical disability. You do not have to be registered blind to use Calibre.
