Our mission is to promote the well-being of all older people and to help make life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Our services are open to all older people aged over 60 and their carers through our offices in central Wandsworth. Age UK Wandsworth recognises the positive contribution older people make to society.

Aspergers Group

Wandsworth Carers Centre

A self-help group by Wandsworth Carers' Centre, the Aspergers group is here to provide peer support for friends and family members caring for someone with Aspergers. Through the group, you can take part in a range of consultations with local decision makers, helping to raise the voice of Carers.

We help you get your life back and achieve your goals after spinal cord injury - whether these are about family, work, lifestyle, social life, travel, or simply to feel positive about the future. Our services include mentoring, wheelchair skills training & activity courses as well as support in getting back to work or school.

Be a Friend Service - Age UK

Provides home visiting volunteers to isolated older people

This service matches volunteers with older people who live alone and would benefit from a regular visitor for friendship and support. We also make regular telephone calls to keep people connected who are not being visited.

This group meets in the 2nd Wednesday of every month,11am -1pm and is run by the Alzheimers Society and Wandsworth Carers Centre for people who care for a person with dementia.

Carers of Young Adults with Learning Disabilities

Support Group - Wandsworth Carers Centre

Support group for people who care for younger adults with Learning Disabilities, aged 15-25. We offer an opportunity to meet other carers, to find out about services and discuss ways of coping with transition from school to adult services. - 2nd Tuesday of alternate months, 11am-1pm.

Clover Cafe by the SW London Alzheimers Society is a monthly gathering for people with dementia and their carers, friends or families to meet and share experiences and company of others in a similar situation. Runs on 2nd Sunday of every month - Tooting We are open to all residents of Wandsworth.

Wandsworth Refugee Network is a small voluntary organisation, based in South West London, which visits prisons to provide emotional and practical support to people being held post-sentence under immigration control. Currently our work is primarily within Wandsworth Prison.
