Providing Better Opportunities

We provide support for people in Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, who have had experience of mental health problems, to find and engage in paid work, voluntary work, education or training, or any meaningful activity that improves their quality of life.

Who is it For?

These are free services that can be accessed by anyone with common or severe mental health problems. Anyone can apply directly or be referred by their GP, social worker, care coordinator or another mental health professional.

We will require further information about your needs to ensure that the services are safe and suitable. This will usually include a risk assessment to be completed by a professional who knows you.

Anyone who wants to use our BEST service will take part in an initial assessment with a Community Programmes Co-ordinator to identify his or her goals, and together they will start making a plan to achieve them. We will continue to offer regular phone, digital support and progress review and to promote useful events and activities including Mind’s Hub activities and workshops as required.

Our service is available Monday – Friday, 9am -5pm Monday and is located at our Wellbeing Hub in Tooting.
