About Us

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre at St George’s Hospital provides free, confidential information and support for anyone affected by cancer.

Whether you are living with or after cancer, are a family member or friend of someone with cancer, we are here to support you. We offer access to good quality information, and emotional and practical support.

If you have questions about cancer, you can come and talk to us face to face in a friendly, informal environment. You don’t need an appointment and can just drop in for some information or a chat.

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is run by specialist staff.

Information and Support

We offer a wide range of free information in different formats, such as leaflets, DVDs and guided internet access. We can also tell you about the ‘information prescriptions service’, a service that enables you to access wider relevant information that can be tailored to your individual needs.

Our resources include information and support about:
