Wandsworth Floating Support Service
Floating support for people with mental health needs

About the service

We support people with mental health and associated needs including:

  •     older poeple
  •     substance misuse issues
  •     domestic violence
  •     HIV and Aids
  •     physical disability
  •     learning disability
  •     young people at risk
  •     young people leaving care
  •     Offenders and people at risk of offending


We offer support with:

  •     settng up and maintaining a tenancy
  •     developing independent living skills
  •     welfare benefits and maximising income
  •     working towards achieving a full and healthy lifestyle
  •     accessing social and community facilities and support
  •     training, education and social development
  •     getting back to work
  •     social responsibility

 

How to apply/eligibility

  •     We help people who:
  •     are aged between 18-64
  •     have mental health support needs
  •     are living in the London Borough of Wandsworth, or have a local   
  •     connection
  •     are willing to engage with the service.

 

We accept referrals from a wide range of sources, including:

  •     Wandsworth Community Mental Health Teams
  •     Wandsworth Housing Options and Projects Teams
  •     Social Services
  •     Health Services
  •     Registered Social Landlords
  •     Voluntary Sector organisations
  •     Self referrals.

The service is available between:- 9:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm Saturday
