Asian Elders Support Scheme
formerly Solace Community Care Ltd
Services

We currently offer three different services: Home Care, Day Center and the Lunch Club.

Home Care enables professional carers to provide help to less able people in the comfort of their own homes. It consists of carers assisting clients with day to day tasks as well as aiding in personal care.

Day Center provides a place for older people to come to during the day to socialise and take part in recreational activities and generally have a good time.

Clients can get involved in many activities such as exercise, therapy and yoga sessions which have been adapted specifically for older members of the community. Clients also play games, go on outings and sing religious songs.

We also have a number of local services that frequently provide free dental and optical checks for our clients.

Lunch club provides day centre or ‘drop in’ with a freshly cooked lunch every day. We offer vegetarian meals that are tailored to the dietary needs of Asian people.

Users may can also pay for a tiffin to take home and eat as an evening meal if they wish.
