Multi-Sports Sessions for all disabled people

DSC Community Clubs are fun, accessible clubs that provide Paralympic and multi-sports for disabled people aged 11 and over. Club Wandsworth has recently moved to the brand new sports hall at Caius House Youth Centre. It is a well-attended Club where the participants are true sport enthusiasts.

CooksForce

Learn basic cooking skills for free

A great opportunity to learn a new skill and to have a good time for free. Improve your basic cooking knowledge in groups of six to ten, through three sessions or more. A community cooking project designed to inspire good practices in the kitchen and wholesome meals from scratch, at home.

COW (Church on Wednesdays)

COW meets every Wednesday lunchtime for food (no charge), worship, fellowship and prayer. It is very relaxed, very informal and a safe place to meet others and learn some great stuff about following Jesus and his power to heal and change us.

Devas is a large purpose-built youth club offering a wide-range of activities, including: table tennis, pool, football, basketball, IT/internet, dance, boxing, martial arts and a impressive music recording studio. There is also a chill-out room and fully equipped gym!

Special Needs Swimming Club

Dolphins is a term-time swimming club for children over 5 and adults with learning disabilities or mild physical disabilities. Sessions are held at Latchmere Leisure Centre on Friday Evenings (during term time) from 7.30-9pm.

Go Anywhere, Do Anything is a project at Share that supports people with learning disabilities to make the most out of London. We'd like to encourage people to try new things, from rollercoasters to rollerdiscos. We are interested in finding out what makes people happy, and then making it happen.

Growing community & a garden on the Doddington estate in Battersea

Community garden growing healthy produce to share

Open Saturdays 10am - 1pm & Wednesdays 12:30 - 3:30pm. Volunteer run garden on the roof of the DRCA. We grow fruit, veg & herbs. There are two lawns, flowers, mature trees & benches to sit & enjoy the garden. Volunteers welcome! We provide all tools, gloves, seeds etc. Come & meet us!

Harvest of Grace Trinity Centre

Supporting people in Wandsworth

Harvest of Grace Trinity Centre is a voluntary organisation that provides hot meals every Saturday in Wandsworth for those in need, especially older people and homeless people. We also offer befriending, mentoring and other support to help people access local community services and training.

Holmleigh Court sheltered housing scheme opened in 1980. It is purpose built and is located in Plough Road, which runs between St John's Hill and York Road. There are spacious communal areas used for various social activities and beautifully maintained communal gardens.

Infuse is a cafe and music venue for young people in the Clapham area. Come over for music, Wii, food, table-tennis, drinks, or just to chill on the sofa. We will be open on Wednesday and Thursdays from 3.30PM-6.30PM. Get in touch for more information.

John Morris House Community Centre

Meeting the needs of the community

John Morris House Community Centre provides meeting rooms as well as various resources for hire. A number of local community projects run from there. John Morris House works in partnership with UK Online Centre's and Wandsworth Council's Widening Participation team to deliver training programmes.
