50 Plus Restart is a thriving group that offers advice, activities and support for older people. We meet every Monday from 12midday to 4.30pm. The group is organised by volunteers and offers a range of activities and plans group outings as well. Men and woman of all background are welcome.

We work to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults and by doing so we also protect other adults a risk of abuse. We were the first charity to address these problems and are the only charity in the UK and in Ireland working exclusively on the issue today.

The Furzedown Community Network (FCN), is made up of local people keen to promote a sense of community in Furzedown. We work to improve our neighbourhood, which includes organising the annual Furzedown Festival and smaller events such as quiz nights.

A community centred Mosque and Islamic Centre, Hyderi caters to the religious needs of the local community with daily prayer, weekly supplications and lectures and Islamic Saturday School. The centre also organises regular activities for senior citizens, sports teams and provides a day nursery.

Lambeth Asian Centre is a day centre for older Asian people in Streatham offering help, support and activities to promote their independence, health and well-being. It reaches out for the lonely and vulnerable people who live in this area.

The Make a Difference group arranges coffee mornings, keep fit sessions for seniors and social events and has become a valuable community resource. As the name suggests, the aim of the group is to make a difference in the local community.

Mount Carmel is a treatment centre in South London that helps men and women to stop drinking and start their recovery. We provide residential and day programmes with a reputation for excellence and success.

The Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Streatham, South West London is a place of worship and community centre for people of the Swaminarayan faith.

South London Islamic Centre (SLIC) is an established Mosque and Muslim Community Centre in Streatham, South London. In addition to regular prayer, five times daily and madressah classes, the centre also provides tuition in core academic subjects and summer play schemes for young people.

Sprout Arts is a self funding community arts space, bringing art and crafts to life, in Furzedown. We encourage local interest and involvement in arts across a diverse range of mediums and opportunity for local artists and performers to exhibit and share their skills with others.

St Alban's is a friendly evangelical Church of England congregation, located in the Furzedown area of Streatham & Tooting. In addition to weekly, Sunday morning services we also provide social activities for people of all ages in the community, throughout the week.

St James is a thriving Evangelical Christian Community with a diverse congregation of local people. The Church is at the heart of the Furzedown community, situated between Streatham and Tooting. Sunday morning services are held weekly at 10.30am.

St Leonard's is a beautiful and historic church located on the corner of Streatham High Road and Tooting Bec Gardens. We are a broad and inclusive church with a strong liturgical and musical tradition and welcome Christians of all denominations to join us at the Lord's table.

We offer open access day services for older people in Wandsworth and a home visiting scheme for those in the south of the borough. Our activities are offered Monday to Friday and aimed at helping older people remain active, challenged and to enjoy new friendships.

Woodlawns Community Centre is at the heart of Lambeth's older community. We organise a variety of activities and events tailored to engage, entertain and serve the needs of our older age groups. We welcome both members and non-members alike, and for a very small fee, our activities are great value.
