Little Acorns: Introduces kids aged 6 months-3 yrs to the joys of making music with a regular fun-packed half-hour of action songs, dancing, dressing up and instrument playing with live music led by experienced singer/ guitarist David Fisher.

St Mary’s Playgroup: meets every Tuesday during term-time between 9.45-11am. The Playgroup is suitable for babies and toddlers and includes an interactive service followed by toys and singing.

Red Star Productions, Dance School: offers children of all ages dance, drama and musical theatre classes. Dance classes include Ballet, Tap Dance, Modern Theatre Dance, Jazz Dance, Cheerleading and Street dance for boys too. They also offer Drama and Musical Theatre as well as private lessons in singing and Acting.

Artful Toddler: is an Arts & Crafts group that allows young minds to explore their imagination in a safe and fun environment. As well as improving fine motor skills, raising confidence and developing a sense of independence, Arts & Crafts is just plain fun. Artful Toddler - where little minds get creative.

Sing and Sign: Would you like to know what your child is trying to say? Developed with the help of Speech and Language experts, the “Sing and Sign” programme is designed to help parents sign with their babies and toddlers and encourage amazing early, two way communication. This is a fun and lively developmental class with music.

Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra [WSO]: is a major group for the performance of post-classical era works which give interest to every section of the orchestra. It is a society for fluent and advanced amateur players with the services of two professional musicians.

Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings.

Putney Pantry: A bright welcoming cafe with a sunny terrace awaits you at the Putney Pantry, the cafe at St Mary's Church, run by chef, Issa Cissokho.


All the food is home-made and the cafe is open all day for breakfast, teas, Barista coffees, home cooked lunch and salads as well as afternoon tea and cakes.  Kids have their own "Happy hour", and midweek you can wind down after work with tapas and a glass of wine or beer.  Book early for the succulent Sunday house roast!

Lancaster Hall - has a fully equipped Kitchen and access to the outdoor balcony and additional rooms on the first floor. The room can set up and function as a dining space, conference room, party venue or reception hall.

- Spacious and light it offers versatile accommodation whatever your need and can seat up to 80 guests (200 standing). You can get access to a terrace overlooking the Thames – ideal for drinks receptions!

- We are able to offer catering by the Putney Pantry chef Issa Cissokho

Cromwell Room – is carpeted with natural light and ventilation has space for up to 30-40 people seated.

Rate:  £30 per hour


Library Room – a small quiet room on the first floor with direct access to the east facing outdoor terrace. Ideal for one to one meetings or up to 10 – 12 people seated.

A piano can be provided for musical rehearsals.

Rate:  £25 per hour


The Arch – this is a self contained creative space under the Putney Bridge which has direct access to the gardens leading down to the river. Ideal for small exhibitions or creative arts, with space for up to 20 people.

Rate:  £20 per hour


The Church – our clergy regularly officiate at Weddings, Baptisms, Memorial Services and other Christian services in the church.
