Wandsworth Youth Council (WYC)
A Youth Voice group for young people of Wandsworth
About Us

Wandsworth Youth Council are a group of young people aged, 11- 19, or up to 25 if they have a disability, who are passionate about ensuring that young people have a say on issues that matter to them.

The Youth Council design and run events throughout the year, that are open to all young people of Wandsworth. The events give young people the opportunity to have a voice, learn key skills and speak with senior decision makers about important topics.

Wandsworth Youth Council also take part in different consultations helping to shape, design and evaluate services for young people.

Being on the Youth Council gives young people the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and make a positive impact on their community.

This is a great volunteering opportunity and members of the Youth Council receive national accreditations, references for their CV's and fantastic opportunities.

Wandsworth Youth Council meet every Tuesday evening, 5 - 7pm, at the Training and Resource Centre, Alma Road.

If young people are interested in applying, they can contact Tiffany Brown directly.
